Demographic and measurement data will flow automatically from the modality. This includes the patient height weight, BSA and the study start time.

It is possible for sonographers to just perform the studies and do nothing more, but we suggest the sonographer, at a minimum, enter the following information into EncaptureMD

  1. Enter a brief history
  2. Choose one or more reasons for the study
  3. Enter the physicians who will be receiving a report result
  4. Enter their name and the name of the reading attending MD (if known at that time)
  5. Ensure measurements transferred correctly
  6. Send a note to the reading attending MD when needed

There are other options like using Study Tags, and the use of the  Study Chronicle to know who did what and when.
