EncaptureMD Documentation & FAQ

Attachments Tab

Updated on

This article covers the use of the Attachments tab within a study. Attachments are stored with the study and can be included in reports. Any file can be uploaded, but only GIF, JPEG and PNG files can be included in reports. PDF files can be appended to reports.

There is a size limit for each uploaded file.  If the file is too large, EncaptureMD will show an error.

There are multiple ways a file can end up on the attachments tab

  • It can be uploaded from the file system using either the +Upload (add a file) or Paste (add from the clipboard) buttons (1) below.
  • It can be captured with the Screenshot tool (5)
  • It can be dragged and dropped onto the tab
  • It can be transferred from specific viewers
  • It can be pasted in via the Paste button (6)

Right click (2) allows the end user to get additional information, download or delete the attached file.

To remove the file from the report, uncheck the Include in Report checkbox (3).

To add a label that will appear above the image in the report or as a caption below the report, enter text in the appropriate column (4).
