The Patients List differs from the Work List in that it shows all the patients known to EncaptureMD independent of whether they have had a study or not.
This list is useful to
- Find a specific patient and all their studies
- Fix duplicate patients
- Edit a patient's information without opening a study.
The list of patients is on the left. The selected patient information is on the right.
- The list can be used to create a new patient manually (usually only for testing or emergencies)
- Each column is searchable and filterable. To find a specific patient, enter their name or PID into the column headers.
- To find all duplicate patients in the system, click the Find Dups by Name and PID button. There are other options - Find Dups by Name and DOB and Find Dups by PID. Once chosen, the list will find all duplicate patients and they can be selected and merged.
A selected patient record (blue in the list) will show its data in this form. It contains almost identical information displayed in the Patient Tab inside an app.
The History tab shows all changes made to this patient's record, the user who made the change and the time/date of the change.
