Landing Page
In the upper right corner you can see your organization's name and your username ( 1 ), the status of the LocalProxy ( 2 ), your avatar ( 3 ), the help menu ( 4 ), the vertical elipsis for fullscreen view ( 5 ), and log out ( 6 ).
User Details
- Clicking on the avatar loads the user settings panel. This panel's information can also be accessed via User Administration. By the time a user logs in, the settings are mostly set up. The point of the tool is to allow the user to adjust their settings (e.g. change password, set display settings, change avatar and change signature line).
- The user's name is entered in this section.
- The account setting is necessary only if your facility is not using LDAP / Active Directory. Your username cannot be changed, but email and password can. An active email address is necessary to log in or change your password.
- Adding a phone number allows tickets submitted from contextual help to automatically populate your phone number. It also allows your phone number to be listed next to your name in the staff list for a study.
- You may use the "Change Password" button to change your password manually. This function is not available if your account is managed by LDAP / Active Directory.
- The user can either upload an image or create a custom avatar by choosing an icon and a color. Two users CAN have the same icon.
- EncaptureMD can be configured to load a viewer. If so, your viewer username and password are entered here.
- The user can show or hide tooltips and set the theme to either light, dark or to match the OS.
- This section allows the user to enter the signature text and style or upload an actual signature.
