How do I search for a field within EncaptureMD?

Updated on

This article covers the search feature within EncaptureMD that allows a user to find a field or component within an application.

The user must have a study open to access the field search feature.

  1. After opening a study, click the three vertical dots located at the top right between Help and Close Study.
  2. Enter the desired text in the search box of the window that opens.
  3. Matching field(s) display on the left.
    • Click the desired result.
  4. Under Views on the right, click the location of the selected item to go to the specified area within the application.
    • These locations are listed hierarchically in the layout, e.g.  - Clinical View / Interpretation tab / General subtab / right side of screen / LV section...
    • There may be more than one location for some fields

In this example "geometry" was entered in the search. There is one field that matches this result. That field is located in the Interpretation tab and the General sub tab under the Myopathy form.
